So as of today my weight is 183 pounds! Yay Me! That's twelve pounds lost since I started this diet. I feel alright, still having some major cravings, but I think that's to be expected. I find that I get the hungriest right after I get the kids from school and right at dinner time. Today I did a few minutes of Wii training, walked to the kids' school and back and also walked down to the managers office. So I think that constitutes a decent days workout! ;-) I've been having headaches like crazy, and I'm not sure what from. It could be from the sun, it could be from the diet, it could be from the headbands I've been wearing in my hair. Ugh! I haven't taken anything for it though because if its from my diet, than it should go away once my body adjusts. My plan is to finish this diet strong, hopefully 20lbs lighter than I started, and slowly reintroduce solid foods that are healthy, nutritious, and solely used as Fuel to keep my body moving. No more eating because everyone else is, no more eating because there is nothing better to do, and certainly no more eating to hide my emotions. This diet is just a start to a healthier life all together. I'm approaching 30 pretty quickly so I want to get my weight and my body issues under control before I have to start whining about my age! LOL. Anyway, aside from starving every afternoon when the family comes home, this hasn't been a very difficult process. I'm proud of Me!!

Follow me on my journey to a healthier (hopefully skinnier) me! My plan in to drink only fresh fruit and veggie juice for 10 days. I don't have a juicer for this experience so I'll be drinking Naked Juice and Bottlehouse Farms juice.

I think I'm starving!
OK, So now it's hitting me! I want something to eat so bad. I've been drinking a LOT of water, but I just need to chew. I can't stop thinking of food. I want a double bacon cheeseburger from Checkers. Mmmmm..... I know that I don't need it, especially a cheeseburger, but I want it. I've had my breakfast juice, a green machine for lunch, a swig of red machine for a snack and even a 4-5 oz snack of strawberry banana juice. I'm not actually lacking anything that my body needs. I just crave what my body is used to. It won't be long and this feeling will pass and I'll be proud to say that I did it and I feel great for it! As a matter of fact just writing about it makes me feel better!
So Far So Good
Ok! It's the begining of Day two and I still feel great. I'm starting to think that the horrible feeling of Detox won't happen to me, but maybe it'll hit later! I woke up, got the kids ready, and had to turn down waffles that little Alexa wanted to make me! :-( I felt bad telling her no thanks, but she got to make some for everyone else, so she was still happy. I had a strawberry banana naked this morning and about 20 oz of water so far. I did a little workout with the Wii and I've lost 6.4 lbs. Yay Me! I know its only water weight right now, but it still makes me feel good! I'm going to get the house cleaned up a little have a green machine for lunch then run on the treadmill. :-) yay me!

Day One
So today is the first day of this crazy journey I'm taking.
My plan is to go on a juice fast for ten days. I recently saw Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead and I was amazed. It made me rethink the way I eat. So I jumped online, read a little about protein caloric need and decided that a Juice fast wouldn't be so bad for me either. I don't think I could last two months, and even if I could will myself to do it, I don't think I could afford it. But I went out yesterday and bought a bunch of Naked Juice to get me started. I bought a Blue Machine, a Red Machine, a Strawberry Banana, 2 Green Machines, and a carrot juice from Bottlehouse Farms. This blog is my way of keeping track of my feelings, my cravings, and my weight loss.
So far I'm doing great. I had a glass (8 oz) of Naked's Blue Machine for breakfast, about 4oz of carrot juice for a snack and Green Machine for lunch. I've also had about 50-60oz of water... yeah... that's a LOT of water! So far so good, I don't feel hungry because of all the water I'm drinking and I've even made the kids breakfast and lunch with only one slip. I was on the phone while I was giving the boys a handful of Animal crackers and out of habit popped one in my mouth. I didn't even realize I ate it until after. Matt just laughed at me. Whoops! I think I need to pay more attention to when and where I eat so that I don't make it a mindless habit anymore!I thought that my biggest challenge would be supper time and right after, and it was! It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be though. I made hamburger and noodles for dinner, and it was hard not to make myself a plate, but I wasn't too hungry, just annoyed that I didn't have something to chew! Then it got worse as I wanted to get up and make a bowl of ice cream or get some cookies... EEEK That was tough! But I made it. It's about bed time and I've done really good! I've had a headache today but I don;t think it's from the fast, I think that it's just me. I always have a headache!
